War Eagles Get Big Win in Season Opener

Posted by War Eagle Club at Aug 24, 2021 8:27AM PDT ( 0 Comments )

GCA opened its 2021 football season with a big win over 3A power Camden High School last Friday night. The game was a matchup between the number two teams in their respective classifications. The War Eagles dominated both sides of the ball from start to finish. KZ Adams led the way for the offense with 180 yards rushing and 3 TDs. Tre Robinson also made some huge runs and throws to extend drives in the first half. Savien Jones led the charge for the defense which held Camden without a TD. Devin Johnson came up big with a pick six right before the half to give the War Eagles a commanding lead. The win moves GCA to 1-0 on the year. The War Eagles will take on rival sister school, Oceanside Collegiate Academy, this Friday at Midlands Sports Complex**
